2 - Honey

WCFP honey comes from over twenty hives sitting right here on the farm. Our pesticide-free pastures provide a high-quality food source for the bees. The hives are cared for by apiary specialist, John DiSanto, owner of Branch Valley Farm in Schwenksville.

The sheep pastures contain a wide variety of flowering plants—sheep like to eat a diverse array of forages, not just grass—and this benefits the bees as well. Honey is harvested once per year in the summer.
