Shetland Sheep - This breed is a heritage breed from islands of the coast of Scotland! 

# of WCFP sheep – 159 Ewes, 39 Lambs

Organic = Orange ear tags for females/Red for males

Non-Organic = Yellow ear tags for females/Green for males

4 rams & 3 wethers - but they are in a different pasture right now

Started with 6 backyard sheep in 2013…In 2026 we have 205!
 
Gestation is 21 weeks/147 days

39 Lambs born to 22 Ewes

WCFP Lambing rate of 1.8 Lambs/Ewe

(Our ewes mostly have twins & even had 2 sets of triplets, with all surviving lambs)
